(1.5 hr) Basic canoe strokes, canoeing safety and skills are taught to prepare students for recreational canoeing in Ontario lakes. The small calm pond provides an ideal situation for the novice canoeist to hone their skills. P.F.D.'s are required and supplied to all participants.

Recommended for grades 4 and above.
