Day Camp
For Boys and Girls 6 - 14 Circle R Day Camp is a wonderful introductory camp experience. Day campers experience the thrills, fun and adventure of camp and return home each evening. Day campers can play, explore, spend time in the outdoors and make new friends while having the time of their lives! Best of all, day campers become part of a caring camp community that encourages and supports them while they practise "growing up!" Program Day Camp exposes campers to a wide variety of activities so they can get a flavour for all the elements of a great camp experience. All of Circle R's camp programs are available to Day campers, according to their age and abilities. Day campers are placed in groups of ten with one counsellor except for Tyke campers who have two counsellors with each group. Including program staff, the overall ratio of campers to staff in Day Camp is 3:1 and the relatively small capacity of campers per session allows more personal interaction and greater flexibility in day-to-day programming.
Horses and the Riding Program There's plenty of horse time for everyone! Day campers ride everyday. Circle R riding programs help campers become more comfortable and confident around horses, increase their riding skills and knowledge, have fun, and enjoy the benefits and excitement of working with horses! |
 Facilities, Meals and Transportation Day campers will enjoy nutritious home cooked lunches prepared by Cirlce R staff and served in the main lodge. Circle R will also provide morning and afternoon snacks as well as cold drinks throughout the day. Bus transportation is provided with stops located throught the city. Our staff travel on the buses with the campers every day. Circle R believes that Day Camp program actually begins and ends on the bus! Trailblazers Camp An Introduction to Residence Camp Exclusive to First-time Residence Campers Finished Grade 2 or 3 Residential camp provides incredible opportunities for growth and development. Living with others helps campers learn to cooperate, be empathetic and develop friendships that last a lifetime. Staying overnight also means more time to have fun at camp! This unique camp is specially designed for campers who have not experienced the excitement and opportunity of Residential camp. During this four-night experience, campers will be introduced to activities exclusive to overnight camp - such as increased choice, awards, evening programs, sleeping in a tent and campfires! |
