New Newsletter
By David Ellyatt
It is exciting to not only hear what God is doing in the Arctic, but
to also be a part of it. Your faithful support and prayers has taken
you to the front line of what God is doing in the North. Every time I
reflect on it I want to get back down on my knees and say thank-you
to the Lord Jesus Christ.
This newsletter is the first of a new format of newsletters designed to keep you informed about Arctic Mission Outreach happenings.. It will continue to have reports from John in his own wonderful writing style and will endeavor to keep you aware of the current projects and up-coming ministry. This issue will be the first newsletter to include pictures .
We invite your comment on the letters and we thank you in advance for your prayers and financial support.
Included in each letter will be a report or article from our founder and president John Spillenaar.
Vancouver Trip Oct. 25-28.
By John Spillenaar
* * * * *I arrived home here in Kitchener last night near midnight from the Native Leadership Conference in Vancouver. God is using Rev. Ross Maracle of Deseronto, Ontario to host these conferences to the Glory of God. I arrived on Wed. Oct. 25 and shared in each evening service, Wed., Thurs. and Friday.
Native
leaders gathered from all across Canada. God is using each one in
their respective ministries and winning many souls to Jesus. Rev.
Ross Maracle also hosts the TV program, "Spirit Alive",
which goes all across Canada and into the Pangnirtung,

I expected the shipping
bill for the church materials to Cape Dorset on Baffin Island -- when
I arrived home last night. But as yet none has come in. But
from previous
Right now we have approximately $8,000.00 toward this shipping bill. So will you please remember us in prayer for this need. I know it shall come in -- as God has promised to "supply all our need" Phil. 3:19, and God uses His people to fulfil His promises. Will you be one of them? God bless you.

New Church In Pang
In the September Newsletter John reported the start of the church in Pangnirtung, the most ambitious of all the churches that this min -istry has built over the years. Pastor Peter reports that the roof is now in place and that the building is closed in. Construction will continue through the long days of the arctic winter.
Pray for the workers and
the congregation that is meeting in the local high school.
Worship In Pangnirtung
Teaching Mission
Rev. David Ellyatt has been asked by Pastors Bobby and Eva Deer to provide some leadership training and ministry from November 25 to December 1, at the Quaqtaq Full Gospel church in Northern Quebec. It is expected that two or three other churches will join these services.
Emergency
Request, Pastor Martha Jaw has asked Rev Ellyatt to
"please come and minister" the Word of the Lord on worship
and unity. There is a need for the
healing
of back sliders and Christian Unity. Cape Dorset will begin building
their new church building in the Summer. There is a need for a real
move of God to bring healing among the back- sliders and to put
worship leaders and musician in the Cape Dorset church.
